Shop Local Black Friday Through Giving Tuesday
From client thank-you’s to the perfect white elephant gifts, keep your dollars in the 614 this weekend. Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday options are endless within our local community.
These eight local groups, who also happen to be Conspire clients, share how to support them this giving season.
Giving Opportunities
Cat Welfare Association (Clintonville)
For Small Business Saturday, the CWA is opening their doors as a place to stop in and recharge by petting and playing with the cats.
While folks are there, they can purchase the best catnip toys in the world, as well as their famous annual cat calendar for 2023. CWA t-shirts are also available online and in store.
Edith Institute (SEA Change Finalist 2022)
Donations to support continued collection and elevation of mothers sharing their motherhood journey through the Mom Voice project. Goal of $5,000 for Giving Tuesday.
Donation of a product for five mothers to use and give their experience with. Some examples of these items include: eye mask, gratitude jar, water bottle with timer (reminder to stay hydrated), etc. Contact andrea@edithinstitute.org if interested.
Donations to support Edith Institute in hiring a Communications intern to support the launch of the WE ARE diversity training app for faith-based organizations and churches. Goal of $1,400.
Girls LEAP (Columbus)
Girls LEAP is aiming to raise $3,000 in humble increments of three to celebrate the non-profit’s three years together. You can learn more and find ways to give on their website.
They are also hosting a big "Mother and Daughter Self Care Day" on December 10th. This is an event where mothers and daughters are given some time to spend together and learn about the importance of self care and mental health.
They are in need of items to create self-care bags for both mothers and daughters. Please see the list below and reach out to Gaby or Mark if you can help:

Girls LEAP are also able to receive Kroger community rewards. Anyone that shops at Kroger can link their Kroger Card to Girls LEAP and every time they make a purchase, Girls LEAP receives a percentage.

Come stop by the studio to help us assemble Bundle-Up Kits for Star House. We will have blanket kits to tie and then hand/foot warmers to wrap up in the blankets. Do you have new or gently used blankets you would like to donate? Bring them by! We will also be collecting glass vase donations at this time as well.
Galaxy Coffee Truck will be located outside our studio from 2-5pm
