CHALLENGE
The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce has always been a cornerstone of the local business community, playing a key role in connecting businesses with opportunities, fostering collaboration, and supporting economic growth in an ever-changing world. To better share its value and vision, the Chamber recently embarked on an exciting rebranding journey.
As part of this refresh, the Chamber also updated its Leadership Worthington program, which is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of community and business leaders. The program now has a fresh identity that highlights its focus on community leadership.

Together, the Chamber’s brand strategy and identity serve as a beacon for change, guiding the community toward a new chapter of success and opportunity. The brand’s foundation is built on the Chamber’s “Magnetic North” - their goal to advocate for and amplify the voices of business throughout the community and beyond.

The Chamber’s refreshed wordmark is anchored by an elevated A character, representing upward momentum and positive change. This symbol also speaks to the idea of “Magnetic North” - the Chamber’s core mission to move the community forward. Supporting the A is a red star, a visual tie to the ColumbUS star, symbolizes the Chamber’s geographic location and their position to better adapt to the growth in the region.
Leadership Worthington
Identity System
In times of challenge and change, Leadership Worthington (a program run by the Chamber and community partners) taps into the community’s exceptional culture of servant leaders to inspire its everyday people to pursue positive civic engagement. Their new logo leans into the idea of elevating the Worthington community by developing and inspiring leaders to drive positive change. A bold wordmark provides a supportive foundation to a custom W brandmark formed by a set of arrows, communicating positive, upward motion.

The rebrand successfully clarified the Chamber's role as a business catalyst and solidified Leadership Worthington’s identity as a key driver of community leadership, resulting in increased membership, engagement and social reach.
